LAVENDER - More Information & INCI
A handmade organic soap with a mildly beautiful lather, a lovely scent of lavender and a moisturizing and emollient effect from organic Olive and Coconut oils. In our latest recipe we have also added plenty of Shea butter that is very caring for the skin and helps to moisturize and emollient the skin.
Furthermore, the high quality olive oil is locally produced here in Algarve.
The soap smells wonderfully of the classic scent of lavender. Here in the form of organic essential oil.
During the saponification process natural glycering is created and then remains in the soap giving the soap an extra caring effect. To create some lavender-colored swirl patterns we have added a little bit of pigmented mica. Mica is a rock (muscovite) that has been mechanically cleansed and ground to fine cosmetic powder. Pigmented mica is colored with natural, non-synthetic, mineral pigments such as iron oxides and ultramarines. No nanoparticles in those micas ofcourse!
At the top, I placed dried lavender flowers picked in my own garden.
The soap has been stored for more than 4-6 weeks.
Suitable for all skin types and the whole body.
